The OW149 Colonial Chair was designed by Ole Wanscher in 1959. Wanscher wanted to create furniture that paid homage to classic conservative tendencies, but that would also stand the test of time. He achieved this balance with the design of the Colonial Chair, and it remains his most famous design to this day.

As a minimalist, Wanscher favored slimness and refinement. However, despite its slender dimensions, the Colonial chair is very stable. Its strength lies in its carefully designed bolster. The design's sophisticated, gently curved armrests rise to a point before turning downward—a signature Wanscher characteristic. The front and back legs are made of roundwood, with the back legs gently curving outward for added stability and a more refined finish.

Shipping costs for small-format products

Small-format products are shipped via courier or small parcel companies at curbside pickup, at a cost of between €5 and €30, which will be automatically calculated when placing the order.

* Assembly is included in all cases except:

• Balearic and Canary Islands, Ceuta, Melilla and Andorra
• International Shipping
• In those specifically indicated in the product sheet
• Does not include the installation of any lighting elements
• It does not include the placement on the walls of shelves, mirrors, pictures, headboards and, in general, any product that can be anchored to the wall.
